Etienne Canales

Etienne joined Schertenleib Avocats as an associate in 2024, where he primarily focuses on patent law, both in terms of advice and litigation, with a strong expertise in the pharmaceutical sector.

He holds two master’s degrees, one in health industry and product law and the other in industrial property law, as well as a bachelor’s degree in science, combining legal expertise with scientific knowledge.

Prior to joining Schertenleib Avocats, Etienne completed several internships in law firms specialising in patent and trademark law, as well as in a pharmaceutical laboratory, where he deepened his knowledge of intellectual property and business law.

Etienne is fluent in French and English.
